# Introduction to Electromagnets

Electromagnetism simply put is using electricity to create magnets. Based on experimentation by predecessors, discoveries have been made that actually link electric currents to magnetism. The phenomenon of opposing ends are being applied in both studies such as positive to negative and north to south. These among other concepts have enabled us to establish relationships with the two forces. Thus leading to advancements and the like.

Different experiments have been conducted to classify the different processes involved electromagnetism and thus variables have been created to understand the phenomenon.

# Electromagnets

Electromagnets are conductors that have current flowing through them. They are usually wrapped with wires, so current can pass through them

# Electromagnetic Field

These electromagnets can create a magnetic field. This magnetic field is can be defined as the point at which magnetic forces are felt, which going to be equal to the force felt by the magnetic poles.

# Permeability(μ)

The ability of a conductor to bring out magnetism is called its permeability. Permeability can vary. In a vacuum current can’t pass through an object so the permeability is 1 or negligible.

The permeability of an object is multiplied with the reference medium 4𝝅×10–7 H/m

# Magnetic Flux Density(B)

This is the amount of flux i.e the magnetic force passing through a magnetic area

# Magnetic Field Intensity(H)

This can be gotten from the magnetic flux density divided by permeability, it can also be gotten from the current divided by the path of the the field i.e the circumference.

This result would then be multiplied based on the amount of times the wire is coiled round the conductor

There are a dozen problems out there and solutions require some formulas that can be tiresome and cause students to lose focus. These problems inspire me to construct mechanical system simulators using web technologies.

Applying all these variables. I constructed a simulation using web technologies .
